Responsible Gaming

1. Our Commitment to Safe Gaming

Gambling in an online casino should always be seen as a form of relaxation and entertainment, and never as a way to systematically make money or solve financial problems. At SpinFin Casino, we take our responsibility seriously. We want you to enjoy our games, but we also want to prevent gambling from having a negative impact on your life, your finances, or your loved ones.

We offer a range of advanced tools and settings in your account to help you manage your gaming behavior and stay within your personal and financial limits.

2. Recognize the Signs of Problem Gambling

It is important to regularly and critically evaluate your own gaming behavior. If you find yourself answering "Yes" to one or more of the following questions, it may indicate a developing or existing gambling problem:

• Do you spend more time or money gambling than you intended?
• Do you gamble to escape stress, boredom, or personal problems?
• Do you lie to friends or family about the amount of time or money you spend gambling?
• Have you ever borrowed money or sold possessions to finance your gambling?
• Do you chase your losses by immediately depositing again after losing money?
• Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when trying to stop gambling?
• Does gambling negatively affect your work, studies, or relationships?

3. Your Personal Tools (Limits)

To help you maintain control, SpinFin Casino offers the option to set various limits. You can adjust these limits at any time in the 'Responsible Gaming' section of your account:

• Deposit Limit: Limit the maximum amount you can deposit per day, week, or month. This helps you stay within your set budget.
• Loss Limit: Limit the maximum amount you can lose within a certain period. Note: this limit is based on your initial deposit and not on the winnings resulting from it.
• Wager Limit: Determine the maximum total amount you can wager over a day, week, or month, regardless of whether you win or lose.
• Session Limit: Set a maximum time you can be logged into our platform per session. Once the time is up, you will be automatically logged out.
• Reality Check: A pop-up notification reminding you how long you have been playing and what your net win or loss is during the current session.

Please note: Requests to decrease limits take effect immediately. Requests to increase or remove limits are subject to a cooling-off period of 24 to 48 hours.

4. Time-out and Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need a break from gambling, we offer options to temporarily or permanently close your account:

Time-out (Short Break)

You can set a 'cooling-off period' for a duration of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this period, you will not be able to log in, make deposits, and you will not receive any promotional emails from us. Once the period has expired, your account will automatically be reactivated.

Self-Exclusion (Long Break)

If you believe your gambling behavior has become a serious problem, you can exclude yourself for a period of 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. During self-exclusion, you cannot reopen your account under any circumstances. We will also do everything in our power to prevent you from creating new accounts with us. Contact our customer service to request a self-exclusion or manage this via your account settings.

5. Protection of Minors (18+)

It is strictly forbidden for persons under the age of 18 (or the legal age in your country of residence) to create an account and play at SpinFin Casino. We conduct rigorous age and identity checks.

If you share your computer or device with minors, we strongly recommend using parental control software to block access to gambling sites. Well-known filtering programs include:

• Net Nanny
• CyberSitter
• GamBlock

6. External Help and Support

If you or someone around you is struggling with a gambling addiction, please know that you are not alone. There are various independent and professional organizations that offer free and anonymous help, advice, and support:

• Loket Kansspel: Central helpline for players in the Netherlands. (loketkansspel.nl)
• AGOG: Offers support to gamblers and their loved ones. (agog.nl)
• Gamblers Anonymous: International support group for problem gamblers. (gamblersanonymous.org)
• GamCare: Provides support, information, and advice to anyone experiencing problems with gambling. (gamcare.org.uk)
• BeGambleAware: Independent charity for the prevention of gambling harm. (begambleaware.org)
